Shirley Adams Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Adams of Fort Edward, New York, who passed away on October 14, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harper K. Richards and Bessie Brayman Richards; her husband Harold "Pete" Adams; and her sisters, Naida McGeoch (Donald "Bun"), Joyce Austin (William "Bill"), Rae Baker (Robert "Bob") and Yvonne Copeland (Ike).
She is survived by: her children, Paula Collins, Penelope LaPointe, Christopher LaPointe of Greenwich and Pamela Blanchard (Robert); her granddaughter Alison Meyer (Bryan); her great grandchildren, Leah and Brendan of New City; and her granddaughter Kimberly Cheney (Nick) of Whitsett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved like her own children.
The family requests that donations in remembrance of Shirley be made to Operation Santa Claus in care of Kim Humiston @ Argyle Central School, 5023 Rte. 40, Argyle, NY 12809, the Argyle United Methodist Church or to a charity of one's choice.
