Robert J. Gettler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Gettler of Fort Edward, New York, who passed away on December 2, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gettler and Elvira Gettler (Hayman); and his sisters, Patricia Lisowski, Joan and Bober (Gloria Talman).
He is survived by: his wife Jean Gettler; his children, Naomi Bruno (John) of Midlothian, VA and Joseph F. Gettler II (Elizabeth) of Baldwinsville; his grandchildren, Jessica Mitchner, Lauren Bruno, Joseph Gettler III and Eva Korcazowski; and his brother-in-law Dave Talman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Infancy Cemetery.
