He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Ellis and Alice Ellis (Bain); and his brother Walter Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ellis; his children, Robert W. Ellis (Pam) and Ann Williams (Dennis); his grandchildren, Ashley (Aaron), Dylan Ellis, Stephanie and Denny Williams (Kristi); his great grandchildren, Larkin and Landen Williams; his stepchildren, Diana Ross, William Tidd, John Tidd Jr. and JoAnn Bielkowicz; his stepgranddaughters, Melissa Pskowski (Brian) and Jessica Tidd; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Sloane, Alexander and Parker Pskowski; his sister-in-law Sandy Ellis; and his caregiver Andrea DelSignore. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
