He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sr. White and Cleo White (Jernigan); his former wife Jacquelin White; and his sisters, Marie Debnam, Pattie Fayton, Hattie Johnson and Doris Boyce.
He is survived by: his wife Hyacinth "Hydie" Charles-White; his children, Denise White, Ivy White, Linda White and Richard White (Bonnie); his stepchildren, Neysha Byrd and Cordell Johnson; his grandchildren, Patrick White, Deonna Reese-White and Naylah Williams; his great grandchild Jacquelin Pearl; and his brothers, Thomas White (Elnora) and Melvin White (Libby). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
