It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis (Johnson) Goodro (Fort Edward, New York), who passed away on May 16, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold E. Johnson and Eva Myrtle Johnson (Tyre); her sister Shirley Messier; her brother-in-law Stanley Messier; and her nephew Michael Turner.
She is survived by: her former spouse Gardner C. Goodro, Jr.; her spouse Marine Corp; her daughter Jan Coons of Fort Edward; her grandson Timothy Coons of Fort Edward; her great grandchild Fiona Dolton-Coons of Glens Falls; her niece Penny Haxston of Moreau; her great-nieces, Anne Fitzgerald (Walter) of Argyle and Susan Ivanico of Moreau; and her great-nephew Edward Turner of Moreau.
