It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Mound of Fort Edward, New York, born in Manistique, Michigan, who passed away on December 8, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Swayer and Albertine Swayer (Forrest); her husband Robert Mound; and her siblings, Natalie Olson, Marjorie Swayer, Sharon Fish, Ruby Swayer and Lloyd Swayer.
She is survived by: her children, Merle Pendley (Don), Robert Mound (Stacey), Ann Wood, Kathleen Mound, Philip Mound and Raymond Mound; her grandchildren, Donald Pendley II (Catherine), Matthew Pendley (Kelly), Chris Mound (Tracy), Nick Mound, Brie Mound, Jonathan Wood (Heidi) and Becky Wood; her great grandchildren, Robert, Jenna, Trevor, Rowan, Jayden, CJ, Kai, Jared, Courtney, Benny, Skylar and Regan; and her siblings, Dorina Curtis and Gary Swayer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial donations in Merle's name can be made to a charity of one's choice.
