Mary Springer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2020, at the age of 95, Mary Springer of Fort Edward, New York, born in Brewer, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Gormely and Theresa "Tess" Gormely (Long); her former husband Vaughn Springer, Sr. (Buzz); her parents-in-law, Kenneth and Violet Springer (Neal); and her brothers, Col. John Gormely (Noreen), Jim Gormely (Jenny) and Bud Gormely (June).
She is survived by: her husband Buzzy; her children, Vaughn Springer Jr. (Skip), Sue Anne Springer and Elizabeth McLaughlin (Sean MacDonald); her grandchildren, Brett Springer (Tammy) of Lake Mills, Peter Springer (Rhonda Williamson), Lindsey Gullborg (Evan), Gary McGuffin (Angie) of Wake Forest, NC and Riley McLaughlin; her brothers-in-law, Ronald Springer (Georgia) of Rotterdam, NY and Lawrence Springer of Bangor, Maine; her cousin Louise; her sister Theresa Myers; and her siblings-in-law, Ralph Springer, Jerry Yerxa and Donna Russell (Richard).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary can be made to our local Veterans who so proudly served our country, or one of our local nursing homes; as Mary loved to spread cheer to those who needed some sunshine.
