It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce LaChaunce (Fort Edward, New York), born in Rouses Point, New York, who passed away on September 14, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Martin and Mary Martin (Gebo); her husband Merritt "Teeny" LaChaunce; her son James LaChaunce; and her son-in-law Joseph Carbotti Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Carbotti, Nancy Ann LaChaunce, Patti Estabrook (Brian) and Jane Sexton (Donald); her grandchildren, Shannon Jones (Robert), Jessica Backofen (Derek), Joseph Carbotti III, Eric Estabrook (Jenny), Shaun Carbotti (Jessica), Scott Estabrook (Casey) and Michael Sexton (Patricia); her great grandchildren, Payton Jones, Alyssa Jones, Lily Carbotti, Alexis Estabrook, Paige Backofen, Shane Backofen, Michael Sexton, Isabelle Naylor, Benjamin Sexton, Axyl Estabrook and Lucian Carbotti; and her niece Bonnie Pierson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the M. B. Kilmer Funeral Home (82 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (164 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828).
