He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucien Gannon and Harriet Gannon (Knickerbocker); his son James J. Gannon Jr.; and his brother Leonard Gannon. He is survived by: his sisters, Frances Osgood (Harold), Leona Gannon, Evelyn Gannon (William), Harriet Smatko (Andrew), Geraldine Smatko (Joseph), Phyllis Smith (Clarence) and Barbara MacPherson (Minor); his wife Phoebe Gannon; his daughter Colleen Fisher (Dan); his grandchildren, Daniel J. Fisher, Jill Fisher (Jim Knapp) and Olivia Fisher; his great grandchildren, Drew and Ava Knapp; and also, Bob, Jackie Shovah, Dan, Delores Burch and Pat. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
