He was predeceased by: his parents, Reynold Dashnaw and Flossie Dashnaw; his sister Rosemarie; his brother-in-law Ray Corblies; his parents-in-law, Bob and Anne Jones; and his brother-in-law Tom Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Judy (Jones); and his grandchildren, Erin Dashnaw, Duane Dashnaw (Kelly), Debra Schultz and Stephen Dashnaw (Ania).
