He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Margaret Valis and Edwin Valis, Sr.; his children, Sean and Meaghan; and his sisters, Karen Maxwell, Eileen Kerr and Susan Faneuff. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
