It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alena Regina Beames of Fort Edward, New York, born in Glens Falls, New York, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Crescione and Marie Crescione (Gloria); her husband James Maurice Beames (Jim); her daughter Carol Ann Beames; her siblings, John Crescione and Mary Mitchell; and her half-brother Karl Schmitt.

She is survived by: her children, James Beames (Yvonne) of Gansevoort, Peter Beames (Paula) of Fort Edward and Ella-Marie Strain (Chuck Pechtel) of Fort Edward. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
