With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luva A. Patnode Bova Bourcier (Fort Covington, New York), born in Churubusco, New York, who passed away on May 9, 2020 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxim Patnode and Rose Patnode (Dupuis); her siblings, Beulah LaDuke, Marie Bova, Floyd Patnode, Gerald Patnode, Donald Patnode and Lawrence Patnode; and her son-in-law Donald Tracy.

She is survived by: her husband Gerald; her children, Connie Wells of Plattsburgh, NY, Charlotte Barewicz (John) of Burlington, VT, David Bova (Roxanne) of Plattsburgh, NY, Joan Johnston (Robert) of Burke, NY, Bonnie Tracy of Canton, NY, Karen Johnston (David) of Burke, NY and Freddy Bova (Lori Murphy) of Fair Haven, VT.; her stepchildren, Bradley Bourcier of Malone, NY and Tamara Webb (Charlie) of Royersford, PA.; her sister Leila Wood of St Louis, MO; and her sister-in-law Theresa Bova Patnode of Malone, NY. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 a Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately for the immediate family, and the burial will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Chateaugay, NY.
