He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Bashaw (Beane) and Herbert Sr. Bashaw; and his siblings, Alden, Francis Bashaw, Elaine Anderson, Theresa Drew, Dorothy Trombley and Beverly Tremblay.
He is survived by: his former wife Lorraine M. Deschambeault; his son John; his daughter-in-law Angela Bashaw of Fort Covington; his grandchildren, Kayla (Justin Jackson) of North Dakota and Hunter Bashaw of San Diego; his great grandchild Oliver Jackson of North Dakota; and his siblings, Herbert Bashaw Jr. of Fort Covington, Robert Bashaw of Geneseo, NY and Janice (Walter Premo) of Fort Covington.
