She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Johnston and Evelyn Thomas Johnston; her close friend Mervin Bellows; her son Randy Yando; and her brother Richard Johnston (Mary) of Brushton, N. Y..
She is survived by: her children, Robert Yando (Kathy) of Guilderland, N. Y., Michael Yando of Malone, N. Y. and Lorrie Brockway of Fort Covington; her siblings, Donald Johnston of Brushton, George Johnston (Bonnie) of York, S. C., Alvin Johnston of Brushton, Irene Marise (James) of Brooksville, Julia Henderson of Huntington, PQ and Linda Stone (Gregory) of Venice; and her foster sister Roslyn Gaetano (Warren Legacy). She is also survived by 8 grand children and 7 great Grandchildren.
She was a past member of the RSVP, a member of the Bangor Senior Citizens, and loved gardening, cooking, crocheting, Ceramics, and spending time with family.
