He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Butler and Laura Butler (Southard); his former wife Carmen Butler; his wife Anne Butler; his brother Hank Butler; and his brother-in-law Hank Rudio.
He is survived by: his sons, John C. Butler, Jr. (Cynthia) of Nashua, NH and Mark Butler (Michele) of Papillion, NE; his stepdaughters, Lynn Granger (Kenny) of Kingsbury, Kelly Poissant of Fort Ann, Terrie Monahan (Mark Larrow) of Kingsbury and Katherine Hayes of Webster, NY; his grandchildren, Carmen Butler, Erik Butler, Daniel Butler, Jonathan Butler, Michael Myers, Amanda Novakovic, Brittany Thakkar, Seth Paige, Chelsie Charron, Jeremiah Monahan and Nathan Monahan; and his siblings, Cora Sue, Debbie (Steve) and Gary (Bonnie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to Fort Ann Little League or any local sports program.
