James T. Lewis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James T. Lewis of Fort Ann, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 12, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter B. Lewis and Agnes C. Lewis (Hall); his siblings, Patricia McKinney (Richard), Maryellen Crevison, John Lewis (Patricia Chadwick) and Joseph Lewis; and his siblings-in-law, Johannah Mayrhörmann (Dieter) and Günther Zimmermann (Hilde) of Germany.
He is survived by: his wife Heidemarie Lewis of Fort Ann; his sons, Frank Lewis (Kim) of Tennessee, Mark Lewis of Fort Ann, Jonathan Lewis (Kim) of Queensbury and Luke Lewis (Samantha Elinson) of Vermont; his grandchildren, Emily Lewis, Jarod Lewis, Calvin Lewis and Hannah Lewis; his brother Jeffrey Lewis of Massachusetts; and his brother-in-law Jerold Crevison of Fort Ann. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
The military honors was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871). A reception was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the JIM and Heidi's (4221 State Route 4, Hudson Falls, New York).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jim's name may be made to St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, 85 George St, Fort Ann, NY 12827; Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org); or to a charity of one's choice.
