“To the Sender Family, I read Anna Sender's obituary in the New York Times this morning. I just want to say how moving is was. Thank you for sharing it. My husband's parents escaped the Holocaust from Vienna, but he lost many family members who lived in Poland. His grandmother gave birth to her first son in Chortkuw. He is writing a family story now for his grandchildren, and I so hope someone in your family is also writing a book to memorialize her incredible life.”
