He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Bentz and Claire Bentz. He is survived by: his wife Deborah of Canajoharie; his son Mark A. Bentz; his siblings, Glenn Bentz of Canajoharie and Sherry Wilson Bentz of Canajoharie; and his stepbrother Ron Bentz of Fort Plain. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
