He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Nare and Ruth Henry Nare; his daughter Deborah; and his siblings, Richard Nare and Eileen Kruger.
He is survived by: his spouse Mauricette M. Calbet; his children, Donald Nare (Judith) of Gloversville and Russell Nare (Melinda) of Fort Plain; his siblings, Margaret Post and Lois Oare; his grandchildren, Jason, Michele Nare, Colleen, Douglas Johnson, Pamela Nare, Amanda Miranda, Curtis, Lindsey Nare, Chad, Erin Nare, Lisa and Michael Simmons; and his great grandchildren, McKay, Elle, Dawson, Garret, Francesca "Frankie", Charlotte, Joseph, Darian, Alexandra "Lexi", Rhianna, Addison, Ava and Brody. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fonda Reformed Church.
