She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas VanAlstyne and Sarah Ann VanAlstyne (Hayes); her siblings, William "Bill" (Bill) and Catherine VanAlstyne; her husband George H. Hinkle; and her son Ronald "Hink" Hinkle.

She is survived by: her brother David; her children, Alan (Shelly Hinkle), Gary (Suzanne Hinkle), Alice Hinkle of Fonda, NY and David "Otto" Hinkle (Kelly Blowers) of Fonda, NY; her grandchildren, Brian (Mandy) of Troutman, NC, Lance of Baltimore, MD, Tara of Ronda, NC, Kellen of Johnstown, NY, Gene of Ballston Lake, NY, Michael (Alissa) of Scotia, NY, Jennifer (Dan) of Fonda, NY, Deanna (Tom) of Fonda, NY, Jeremiah (Lori) of Fonda, NY and Brittany (Steven) of Fonda, NY; her grandson-in-law David; her granddaughter Eva VanAlstyne; and her pet Darrell. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; her brother.
