She was predeceased by: her husband Gregory Mantekas; and her parents, Vasilios and Georgia. She is survived by: her children, John (Diane), Georgia, Vasilios (Denise) and Maria (Michael); her grandchildren, Maria (Gregory), Yanna (Frank), Gregory (Eleftheria), Dana (Martin), Stella (Matthew), John and Lena; and her great grandchildren, John, Leo and Gia.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Frederick Funeral Home (192-15 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11358). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Shrine Church (196-10 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11358).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Shrine Church in Flushing, NY, in Stavroulas memory.
