She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy (Debbie Branagan) and NJ. She is survived by: her husband Matthew Dowd of Finegan's Rainbow; her children, Matthew Dowd and Deirdre (Brian McCooey); her sister Theresa Rudin; her siblings-in-law, Philomena Gilmore and Michael Gilmore; her grandchildren, Aidan, Michael, Catherine McCooey, Matthew and Abigail Dowd; and also Cindy Dowd. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Frederick Funeral Home (192-15 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11358). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament (34-24 203rd St, Auburndale, NY 11361). A committal service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (49-02 Laurel Hill Blvd, Woodside, NY 11377).
