Today we lay our beloved sister, Melissa Sealy, to rest

Her spirit was freed of her body on 4/11/2020. While we may have a heavy heart, we are all celebrating her life and the times we enjoyed with her.

Born on 06/09/1954, of Meniva Abbott and John Sealy, the first of 8 siblings, she graced us with laughter, wisdom, and guidance. An avid reader, she was quite well read. She never stopped learning, teaching and supporting the best way she could. Always ready to laugh, smile and dance with a flair that was all her own. Then turn around and cook some of the most delicious food you've ever tasted. A woman of so many talents.

All that she endured exemplified the epitome of strength. We are all in awe. While we were born as her sisters and brother, she became our friend and confidante. She left us with two wonderful sons Christopher and Brandon to carry on her legacy. The grace, love, laughter and memories of our big sis forever emblazoned on our hearts.

Keep dancing in the heavens Lisa, we love you. We'll miss you.
