He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Burke and Athalyn Jeffers; his daughter Sandra; and his siblings, Ouida, Thelma and Selwyn.

He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Shirley, Shari, Shurla, Trudy, Anthony, Bill, Roger, Renn, Louis and Jacob; his children-in-law, Fausto, Jeffrey, Noble and Tereza; and his nieces and nephews, Nicolette, Nadine and Nigel.
