We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2024, at the age of 56, George Markadakis (Flushing, New York), born in Jamaica, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though George has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Luisa; his children, Christina (Louis) and Nicholas (Heather); and his grandchildren, Liam, Olivia and Toula.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Frederick Funeral Home (192-15 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11358). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Shrine Church (196-10 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11358).
