With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elvira Mehran of Flushing, New York, who passed away on March 21, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joseph Mehran; her children, Alex (Michelle Mehran), Barbara Abruzzo, Robert Mehran (Theresa) and Joe Mehran (Beth); her grandchildren, Alex Jr. Mehran (AnnMarie), Jaclyn Mehran-Bolkovic (Louis Bolkovic), Christopher Mehran, Nicolas Mehran, Robert Mehran (Lauren), Deena Mehran-Riccio (Michele), Ashley Dimarco, Danielle Eldridge, Joseph Mehran, Rachel Sitman (Eric), Rebecca Raevsky (Corte) and Emma Paul (Brett); and her great grandchildren, Savanna, Nico, Gio, Anthony, Robert, Blake, Christianna, Antonio and Bella.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frederick Funeral Home (192-15 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11358). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the St. Kevin's RC Church (45-21 194th St, Queens, NY 11358).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
