He was predeceased by: his siblings, John Wallace Splawn, Joe Memory Splawn, Joanna Splawn Fairey and Lois Splawn Kay; his grandson Jeffrey DiRubio; and his son-in-law Theodore Surynt (Ted).
He is survived by: his wife Janet Owings Splawn; his daughters, Jan Sinclair (Steve), Joanna DiRubio (Jeff) and Nancy Surynt; his grandchildren, Jessica DiRubio Arden (Colbey), Matt DiRubio, Chris DiRubio and Nick DiRubio; his daughter Nancy Farm; and also Marsh Oaks Farm. He is also survived by nephew and several nieces.
