He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Savage and Katherine Savage; and his son-in-law Stephen Gagnon. He is survived by: his wife Joan (Ouderkirk); his daughters, Kristin Gagnon and Lauren Wisnowski (James); his grandchildren, Jon Paul Gagnon (Kristine), Stephanie Gagnon (Christopher DeSalis) and Nicholas Myers (Ashley Shaw); his great grandchildren, Alexis, Danica, Asher Gagnon, Maddison and Eymarah Myers; and his brother Richard Savage (Judy).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept #142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908 or to the CNY S.P.C.A., 5878 East Molloy Road, Mattydale, NY 13211.
