He was predeceased by: his siblings, Kathryn, Hannah, Vivian, Edith, Shirley, Harry and Clifton.

He is survived by: his children, Rudy Thompson (Diane) of Michigan, Linda Drew (Chuck Reed) of Lan and John Thompson (Amy) of Florida; his sisters, Phyllis Hillary and Elizabeth Barnes; his sister-in-law Marion Thompson; and his significant other Mary Elser. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospicare, 172 E. King Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850, or to the donor's choice.
