He was predeceased by: his sister Joyce E. Wind. He is survived by: his parents, Ronald H. Wind and Reiko Nakjima Wind; his niece Heather Thomas of Allegany; his uncle Jim Wind of North Carolina; and his cousins, Bruce and Rose Crandell of Cuba.
