He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Rutkowski and Anna Sadlowski Rutkowski; and his brothers, Ed and Alex Rutkowski. He is survived by: his wife Gertie Slesinski Rutkowski; his daughters, Cindy Zak (Tom) of Middletown, Darlene Fuller of Poughkeepsie and Melanie Bilancione (John) of Middletown; his granddaughters, Sara Tkazyik (John), Heather Wolfe (Kent) and Aimee Bilancione; his great grandchild Hudson James Wolfe; his siblings, Vincent Rutkowski (Dorothy "Kay"), Martha Krzyzczuk, Josephine Lasapanaro and Gladys Rice; and his sister-in-law Ceil Rutkowski. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
