He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas McVeigh and Martha McVeigh (Congdon); his son Thomas A. McVeigh; and his granddaughter Sarah Porter. He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth; his son-in-law Paul Hamel; his close friend Helen Johnson of Florida; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Bagdriwicz and Jessica Collins (Brandon). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
