He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Sanford and Fannie Sanford (Connor); and his son Timothy Sanford. He is survived by: his children, Mickey Sanford of Florida, David Sanford (Nickie Woodard) of Hornell and Gail Peters of Rochester.
Max's family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to the Bath VA Medical Center Activities Fund, 76 Veterans Ave., Bath, NY 14810.
