He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Waters and Doris A. Waters (Walker); his uncle Frank; his aunt Sylvia Walker of Norwich; his stepfather Eugene Watrous; his stepson Joe Beckwith; his siblings, Pam Corbin, Sharon Cavness and Randall Waters; and his brother-in-law Jerry Loughren.
He is survived by: his stepson John Beckwith (Karen) of Oxford; his sisters, Ellen Loughren of Oxford and Jean Sharpe (Daniel) of Norwich; and his nieces and nephews, Robert Corbin of Norwich, Keith Corbin (Stacy) of North Norwich, Michael Waters (Terri) of Norwich, Bug Loughren (Marie) of Norwich, Andrew Waters (Sarah) of Smyrna, Raymond Cavness (Debbie) of Binghamton, Rebecca Root (Phil) of Greene, Danny Sharpe of Bainbridge, Ryan Sharpe (Ingrid) of Norwich and Adrienne Sharpe of Syracuse. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oxford Emergency Squad, Hospice of either Chenango or Broome County or the Mercy House of the Southern Tier.
