He was predeceased by: his wife Monette Ward; and his siblings, Daniel, Adolph and Bobbie Jean Burkett. He is survived by: his brother David Ward (Mary Lee); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ward, Mildred Ward, Virginia Moseley and Margaret Moseley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
