Leo Kaytes Obituary

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elias Kattas and Adla Kattas; his wife Gladys; his children, Adele Van Haste (William) of Vernon, NJ, Eileen Padham (Michael) of Warwick, Debbie Thiessen of Warwick, Sharon Vandenbos (Mark) of Warwick and Leo R. Kaytes (Karen) of Warwick; his grandchildren, Heather Ruxton (Steven), Kenneth Van Haste, Brittany Pfaffenberger (Frank), Jennifer Padham, Melissa Padham-Maass (Paul), Michael Padham (Ivy), Jeffrey Padham (Kimberly), Jason Thiessen (Alexandra), Stephen Thiessen (Alena), Christopher Thiessen (Christine), Stephanie Thiessen, Daniel Vandenbos, Joseph Vandenbos, Nicholas Vandenbos (Nicole), Kristen Kaytes and Matthew Kaytes; and his sister Alice Mamary of Little Falls, NJ. He was also cherished by 15 great-grandchildren, many nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial (17 Oakland Ave, Warwick, NY 10990). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Ignatius Antiochian Orthodox Church (75 N Main St, Florida, NY 10921). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at the Warwick Cemetery (94 Oakland Ave, Warwick, NY 10990).
