John Schorge Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Schorge (Florida, New York), born in Utica, New York, who passed away on April 14, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Schorge and Alice Schorge (Doolittle); his wife Ann; his daughters, Diane Mathie (David) of Hannawa Falls, NY and Lori Cyr (Michael) of Spencerport, NY; his grandson Stephen Mathie (Jen); his children, Flynn, Logan of Boise, ID and Billy Cyr (Sara); and his sisters, Elizabeth Caruso (Al) of Saratoga Springs, NY and Judith O'Reilly (John). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and their children.

Memorial donations in his memory may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, Potsdam or the Schorge Scholarship at the Crane School of Music.
