He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta Maloney; and his siblings, Marion Edsall and Joseph Maloney. He is survived by: his parents, James Maloney and Isabel Maloney; his children, Patricia Plass (Joel) of Tamarac, Maureen Berrios (Richard) of Ariel, FL, Judith Maloney of Brooklyn, Shannon D'Avi of Weston, FL, Michael of Newburgh, NY, John (Heather) of Tenafly, NJ, James (Bonnie) of Congers, NY and Timothy (Ashely) of Sarasota, FL; and his brother William Maloney (Ginny) of Florida. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
