He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackson S. Burden and Florence Collins Burden; and his wife Clare C. Burden. He is survived by: his children, John S. Burden (Jamey Bellamy), Francis G. Burden (Kristin), Philip C. Burden (Jo Ann) and Clare M. Burden; and his grandchildren, Thomas Burden, Theresa Burden, Jackson O. Burden II and Joseph Burden.
