He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Newman and Ada Newman; and his brother Stanley Newman. He is survived by: his wife Irma Levine Newman; his sons, Michael R. Newman (Kristine), Eric J. Newman (Karen) and Mark L. Newman (Gretchen); his grandchildren, Jonathan (Jessica), Jenna (Christopher), Joshua, Sarah, Samantha (Sean) and Benjamin; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Quinlan, Jack, Caden and Calleigh.
