Amato of Florida, New York, born in Avon, New York, who passed away on May 20, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Amato and Virginia Amato (McCormick); and his sisters, Betty Hosenfeld and B. K. Wolfanger. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Amato of Brooksville, FL; his children, Jack Amato, Jr. of Lakeland, Joseph Amato (Katherine), Jamie Rachow, Jimmy Church (Bonnie), Stephen Amato (Tonya) of Port St and Wayne Hamilton (Jessie) of Spring Hill, FL; his grandchildren, Jaclyn Amato, Jennifer, Kasey, Gared Amato, Jacob Church, John, Jewley, Justin, Jimmie, Josiah, Jeremy, Joseph Rachow, Lucas, Canyon, Brianna, Ariella, Landon Amato, Kailee, Emma, Leah, Allie and Charlie Hamilton; and his sisters, Francis Gielan of Brooksville, Wanetta Davis and Loretta Boley. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
At this time due to the COVID-19 Pandemic there will be no public calling hours or funeral service.
