He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugenie and Henry Townsend; and his siblings, Amy, Carmen, Edina, Juliet "Shirley", Radcliff "Massa" and Hector.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lucille and Granville "Buxie"; his sisters-in-law, Faye, Joyce and Jewel; his sons, Ian (Sharon), Michael (Symone), Geo (Theresa) and Christopher (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, David, Adrian, Alexandria, Shannon, Matthew, Emily-Victoria, Anna-Lauren, Brandon, Elise, Christoper Jr., Jacob and Izabel; and his great grandchildren, David Jr., Brooke and Christian. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
