He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gurda Sr. and Helen Kozireski Gurda; his daughter Frances; his siblings, Floyd, Edward, Ralph Gurda, Barbara Morgiewicz (Conrad) and Ginger (Joan Poloniak); and his parents-in-law, Louis Poloniak Sr. and Catherine Poloniak.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Poloniak Gurda; his children, Eleanor, Clara, Nancy and Ronald; his grandchildren, Sean (Kelly), Keegan (Noel), Shannon McNamara, Jason (Adrienne), Daniel (Alyssa), Nicholas (Taylor), Michael Mazzella (Kayla), Mark (Alyson), Malcolm Rogowski, Natasha Spears (Ryan) and Austin Gurda; his great grandchildren, Dillon, Lorena, Piper, Noah Mazzella, Birdie, Avery, Carter and Parker Rogowski; his brother Kenneth Gurda (Kim); his siblings-in-law, Helen Feagles, Mary Ann Gurda, Joan Sullivan (Ray), Bernice Poloniak, Louis Poloniak (Dolores) and Vincent Poloniak (Leokadia); his uncle Stanley; and his aunt Doris Gurda. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
