He was predeceased by: his parents, James McNeill and Christina McNeill (Horton); his sons, Michael Schmitt and Nicholas McNeill; and his brother Joseph McNeill.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Luczak; his children, Daniel McNeill of Florida, Sidney McNeill (Lisa) of Hornell, Colleen McNeill (Gary Johnston) of Wellsboro, Nancy Thurman (Scott) of Wisconsin, Joseph Schmitt (Kim) of Oaklahoma, Lorellie Schmitt (Michael Landino) of Wayland, Matthew McNeill (Lynda) of Canisteo and Patrick McNeill of Hornell; his brother Leon McNeill (Mary Jane) of Andover; and his sister-in-law Jean O. McNeill of Tonawanda. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
