He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Gorczynski and Franciszka Zemka Gorczynski; his son Edward Gorczynski Jr.; and his siblings, Leonard, Chester, Joseph, Kazimierz, Ludwik, Kontanty Gorczynski, Ursula Buda and Bernadette Bigert.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Stachnik Gorczynski; his daughter Angela Gorczynski; his grandchildren, Charlotte (Meg), Emily, Grace, Eddie III and Brendan; his siblings, John Gorczynski (Vickie) and Theresa Piccirilli (Joe); his sisters-in-law, Julie Gorczynski, Helen Gorczynski, Marilyn Gorczynski, Bozena Gorczynski, Cecilia Rajnert, Bogumila Freisinger (Carl) and Danuta Previtera; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Angel and Vivian M.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
