She was predeceased by: her sister Marianne Jakubowski. She is survived by: her parents, John "Captain John" DePerno and Mafalda "Mitzi" DePerno (DePastina); her children, Tara (Michael Skidd) and Dr. Justin (Lauren Casey); her grandchildren, Michael, Thomas Skidd, Alessandra and Adriana Casey; her sisters, Elaine DePerno-Brown (Andy) and Joni DePerno-Zahas (Scott); her brother-in-law Joseph A. Jakubowski; and her nieces and nephews, Sheri A., Fidele P. Fanelli, Joseph M., Katie Jakubowski, Dr. Kristy, Dr. Greg McBride and Scot Zahas. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
