She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan A. Gifford and Irena Gifford (Blessing); her husband R. Wendell Tygert; her son Alan Tygert; and her siblings, George Gifford, H. Durrel Gifford, Ralph Gifford and Robert Gifford.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Bailey (Jim) and Kent Tygert (Cindy); her daughter-in-law Pamela Tygert; her grandchildren, Mark Tygert, Teresa Kneezel (Tim), Beth Halayko (Brendan), Taraneh Fazeli, Joshua Fazeli, Jennifer Greer (Adam), Christina Stryjek (Nick) and Keith Tygert; and her siblings, Margaret Bixby and Warren Gifford (Inge). She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
