It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Mitchell of Florida, New York, born in Plattsburgh, New York, who passed away on May 13, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Mitchell and Yvonne Mitchell (Gallant). He is survived by: his wife Stella Mitchell (Lafave); his children, Yvonne (Patrick Caska), John (Polly Mitchell) and Alan (Julie Mitchell); his brothers, Roy Mitchell of Plattsburgh and Richard (Jill Mitchell); and his sister-in-law Barbara Burnell of Altona. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be offered to Hospice of the North Country.
