He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Johnson and Ruth Myer Johnson; and his brothers, Frankie, Robert, Herbert and Tommy.
He is survived by: his wife Rose L. Anderegg; his children, Roberta McCarthy, Bonny McCarthy, Vivian Haase and John McCarthy; his son-in-law George Haase; his grandsons, Justin Cromwell and Spencer Storey; his brother Walter Johnson of Florida; and his close friend Wayne Grant of Floyd, NY. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
